The Patients' Group promotes Healthy Living with regular evening talks
by eminent Consultants on a wide variety of health topics. These
talks are advertised on this site and at the Surgery. For those
unable to attend, reports on these meetings are available elsewhere on
this site.
We organise other events with a view to enabling
patients to meet practice staff on a social basis, and to raise
sufficient funds to operate the Patients' Group itself. We
publish an occasional newsletter, helping patients to keep up to date
with developments in the Practice and the wider NHS. We welcome
comments on those developments and other suggestions, which can be fed
back to the Practice by contacting Hans Danziger at hans.danziger@talktalk.net or Jean Hall at jeanrankine@btinternet.com.
Much
of our inspiration comes from the belief that the relationship between
patients and those who organise their healthcare should be as open as
possible, and that many of the traditional barriers can be
overcome. In particular, the group seeks to provide a channel
through which patients can express their concerns to the practice
management on an anonymous basis. If you have questions or
concerns, then the group's Vice-Chairman Henry Palmer (020 8994 3394)
or henrypalmer@btinternet.com will be happy to receive your call and to treat it in confidence.
